17.Can I transfer my subscription to a different username?
18.How do I set the software to bet at 0.1% PPR?
19.How can I permanently save my settings?
1.My serial key doesn't work?
Please check your serial key has not expired. Your serial key is generated based on your Betfair username. You cannot use anyone else's serial key and vice versa.

2.Software cannot connect to Betfair?
Please check if the Betfair web-site is running. If the site is down, then the software will not be able to connect.
3.Market data pages are empty?
To conserve internet bandwidth, the market data does not begin to refresh until 30 minutes before the first race of each day.
4.The software has stopped placing bets halfway through the day?
Firstly, check to ensure your internet connection is still live. Then login to your account at Betfair to check the exchange is still running. In some very rare cases, Betfair can take up to 1hour to settle a bet. As a very important security feature, Auto-BF will not continue placing bets, until all previous bets are settled and up-to-date.

5.Auto-BF seems to skip some races?
The software will not place any money on a race if the previous bet has not been settled, the odds of the horse are too low, the race has been suspended, Available betting pot has been exceeded, or a race overlaps due to late start time. This is perfectly normal. Auto-BF will also typically cease trading at around the 5th-7th from last race, if it detects a winning bet. This is to prevent you running out of races to recoup losses. It will only continue betting if it feels necessary to recoup lost bets.
6.I received an 'Abnormal Program Termination' error?
Auto-BF and the MarketFeeder Pro software is CPU and memory intensive, particularly during trading hours. Ideally, you should not be running other programs whilst the software is running. Also, please ensure your computer meets minimum requirements, and is virus/spyware/adware free, and is regularly defragmented.
7.I received an 'EAccess Violation' error?
This normally occurs when users attempt to run Auto-BF on a server operating system such as Windows 2000 server or Windows 2003 server. Auto-BF is not supported on these platforms. Please also check Control Panel->System->Advanced->Performance Settings->Data Execution Protection is set for essential Windows programs

8.Column A in the 'Triggers' worksheet display '#REF!' all the way down?
Please ensure you are running ENGLISH LANGUAGE version of Excel, as all formulas and triggers are written in English.
9.I get a 'LOGIN ERROR - Please verify your data' message when I log in?
Please remember your username and password are case sensitive. Check you can log into Betfair's website ok. If you still cannot login, please email us.
10.The software doesn't seem to be working with Open Office?
Auto-BF does not support Open Office. You will need Microsoft Excel. You can obtain a 60-day free trial of Microsoft Office (which contains Excel) from Microsoft Trials Website
11.There seems to be duplications at the bottom of my 'Triggers' Worksheet?
This is perfectly normal. We use the last few rows of the Excel worksheet to hold trigger and formula information. They are always stored at the bottom.

12.My account balance is showing -1?
The software will change the value to -1 to indicate that there is no current connection to the Betfair API. This could be due to Betfair's servers being down, or your broadband connection has been interrupted
13.Auto-BF suddenly put all bets on at once in the morning?
Your system clock must be incorrect. Please correct your Windows system clock by opening Windows CONTROL PANEL -> Date and Time. Ensure your system time and date are both correct.
14.The software doesn't seem to be placing any bets at all?
First of all open your 'List of Events' Excel worksheet, and ensure that all of today's race triggers are present. If the page is blank, then the daily zip file has not been loaded correctly. Also, check that MarketFeeder Pro is still running. If the triggers page is full of race triggers, make note of the AMOUNT column, and ensure that there are values down this column. If all values in this column display #REF! then either the races have finished, or you have accidentally loaded a previous days zip file.

15.I can see the race triggers, but still bets aren't being placed?
Are you a non-UK resident? If you are, then you need to ensure your Regional Settings have been changed to display "." as your decimal separator. Auto-BF will not work if your decimal separator is set to ","
16.The software doesn't seem to be placing the correct amount on races?
This is almost certainly due to other "personal" bets being placed with this Betfair account. You should NOT place any bets with your Betfair account whilst using Auto-BF. The reason for this is that Auto-BF bases it's calculations on your Betfair account summary. Now because Betfair do not distinguish between bets made from the betfair web-site, and the Betfair API, the software cannot tell which bets are part of the strategy, and which bets are your personal bets.
All bets will appear in your account summary, and therefore Auto-BF will end up basing calculations on results of your own personal bets. If you wish to place personal bets with Betfair whilst using Auto-BF, we strongly recommend that you open a second Betfair account and keep the bets separate.
17.Can I transfer my subscription to a different username?
If you wish to transfer your subscription over to a different username, an API transfer fee of £15 will be charged, and your old Betfair username will be disabled from API access to prevent fraud. This process may take up to 48 hours, and you will not be liable to a pro-rata refund for any lays lost trading whilst this tranfer is completed

18.How do I set the software to bet at 0.1% PPR?
When you start up Auto-BF, your default PPR will always show as 0.25 - This is a saftey measure so that if you load up the software and don't change your PPR, it will stay at the small trial level. You can add a simple formula into cell F1 of the triggers page, that will tell the software to trade at 0.1% of your starting bank. Copy and paste the following formula into the cell:
=IF('list of events'!R6="", 'list of events'!R3*0.001, 'list of events'!R6*0.001)
19.How can I permanently save my settings?
Some people would prefer to save their settings so that they don't have to keep returning to the triggers page every day to change them. for example, you may wish the software to always start up with "manual" override so the software always bets to the last race. This can further speed up the setup time of Auto-BF. If you wish to do this, you need to do the following:
Step 1 - Ensure that MarketFeeder Pro and Auto-BF is NOT open or running.
Step 2 - Go to c:\program files\MarketFeeder Pro 4.2 and right-click on the feeder1 file and rename to feeder_old
Step 3 - Double click on feeder_old file to open. This is the Excel Template. Now change any settings you wish in the triggers worksheet.
Step 4 - Once you have made changes, goto file->save as and save the file as "feeder1", and change the file save type to Template, and save this back into the c:\program files\MarketFeeder Pro 4.2 folder.
You should now have a new feeder1 Excel template, with all the settings saved. The software will reference this Template each time Auto-BF starts.
