Auto-BF is a powerful Betfair trading solution, designed to work in conjunction
with the MarketFeeder Pro Betfair API software product.
MarketFeeder Pro was originally developed to allow traders to construct complex automated trading strategies, effectively allowing their PC to place automated bets on their behalf, based on specific trading criteria. For example, a trader might program MarketFeeder Pro to place bets of £10 on the favourite of each UK Horse Race, whenever the favourites odds happen to be above 2/1 (3.0) and below 3/1 (4.0). Once programmed, the MarketFeeder Pro software would continuously scan the markets, and place automatic bets, whenever the favourites met the specified criteria.
This is just a very basic example of how the software could be programmed, however some users of the MarketFeeder Pro program found the software's level of complexity and steep learning curve rather intimidating, and thus Auto-BF was conceived to address these issues.
Auto-BF originally launched in 2006, and was the first "set & forget" automated Betfair Trading solution. The original platform was developed in conjuction with Auto-BF and Welldonesoft (creators of MarketFeeder Pro) and offered novice users the opportunity to automatically trade unattended on Betfair.
Over the last few years Auto-BF has evolved, offering additional options for the trader to adjust his/her betting strategy, but the latest version of Auto-BF (version 6) offers a complete overhaul of the platform, coinciding with the launch of the MarketFeeder Pro 6 API engine.
